In this Privacy Policy, the expressions "we", "us" and "our" are a reference to Puretec.
We manufacture and sell a range of innovative water filtration solutions for domestic and commercial applications (Puretec products).

As Puretec distributes its products in New Zealand, your personal information may be transferred to recipients located in New Zealand, and the Pacific islands. These countries have personal information and data protection laws which protect personal information in a way which is at least substantially similar to the Australian Privacy Principles, and there will be mechanisms available to you to enforce protection of your personal information under that overseas law.
In the circumstances, we do not require the overseas recipients to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and we will not be liable for a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles if your personal information is mishandled.

The fact that you may be located in Europe does not, however, on its own entitle you to protection under the GDPR. Gaining access to your personal information and correcting it
You have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to request correction to any of the personal information we hold about you.
If you would like details of the personal information that we hold about you in order to update it, correct it or for any other reason, please forward a written request to our Privacy Officer whose contact details are set out below.
Once a request has been made, the Privacy Officer will aim to contact you within 5 business days.
We will require you to satisfy identity validation procedures to prove that you and the individual requesting the personal information.
The process for access and correction of your personal information may also be available to you under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).

Changes to our privacy policy
We do not expect to make changes to our Privacy Policy regularly, however we reserve the right to do so at any time to reflect changes in the way we collect and manage your personal information and to accommodate for any changes required at law.
